FAQ

If there’s anything not covered here, don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d be happy to chat over the phone or on a video call to connect and answer any questions.

What is super 8mm?

Super 8mm is a film format introduced in the 1960s, known for its unique ability to capture memories with a timeless, nostalgic feel. While I currently shoot digitally, I use specific techniques in both filming and editing to emulate the look of an authentic Super 8 camera—so seamlessly that most people can’t tell the difference! Excitingly, I’ll soon be offering the option to shoot on real Super 8 film for weddings, bringing an even more authentic touch to your special day.

Do you travel?

Yes, I love to travel! I’m based in Southern Ontario but travel both domestically and internationally! Travel fees aren’t included in my pricing, so feel free to reach out for a custom travel quote.

How long does it take to receive my film?

You’ll receive a preview of your film within 30 days, with the final version delivered within 120 days. It will be uploaded to an online gallery where you can easily download and share it.

What does the booking process look like?

Once we’ve had a chat to make sure we’re the right fit, I’ll send over a contract for you to review and sign. A 20% deposit secures your date, and we’ll stay in touch leading up to the big day! The final payment isn’t due until 7 days before your wedding.

Do you offer family or brand sessions?

While weddings, elopements, and engagements are my main focus, I occasionally take on couple, family, or branding sessions as well!
